Good Morning dear peeps !

Just finished a quick wound care visit up the road, now going to get Mutti up and give her b'fast, then jump in the shower. DD and Gavin are going to come over today to visit. Hope the weather holds up, we'd like to take the baby to the park for a stroll today. If not, we'll just hang out here.

Hope all are doing well.. so sorry I don't get on here much these days.. now that I'm not getting off work 'til 3:30-4pm, it's even more difficult for me to come and chat awhile. Only have an hour to change clothes, start some wash, and get organized at home before I start Mutti's supper, etc. Ah well.

Guess I'd better get going.. Mutti is suppose to be getting dressed, but if I don't keeo checking on her, she's liable to crawl right back under the covers half dressed. Heh. The other day she found the control thingie for her lift chair.... she was going up and down, up and down, up and down.. It was too funny.

So we pulled the cord around the back of the chair and pinned it there so she couldn't play with it. LOL.

OK.. I'm outta here!

Good Morning allnurses, admins, mods, staff and BUDDDDDDDDIES

What a glorious day I had yesterday visiting previous Caregivers of my patients that have died. It was so nice to catch up and see how they were all doing.

Phoned my dearest closest girlfriend back home in Tasmania to wish her Happy Birthday. Had a lovely chat then got all teary because we miss each other so very much. *sighs* Her son ran in to wake her up!

Just came in from being outside and I had two deer in our front yard under the trees having a wonderful time eating the grass. Oh they are just gorgeous.

I have filled up the bird feeders with fresh seed and made more hummingbird syrup. I have to wash them out and refill those which I will do shortly.

Going to 'do' my nails then get organized here.

Later today I do need to catch up on my emails and letter writing. Do some ironing and get that all caught up

Cut all my veggies up for a delish stir fry tonight which is sooooooooo good. Having that with brown rice slurppppppppps.

Hubby is hard at his studying and enjoying learning about Peds. I am amazed how he is so excited at learning all of this but so relieved because Peds is not an area that is too popular in Nursing School.

Hmmm what else do I plan to achieve today? Oh yes would love to run the lawn mower over said lawns later on today. Enjoy the afternoon sitting on our porch swing listening to the water run over the rocks and chat to my darlin' YUP works for me.

I completed a 12-hour shift at my second job about 90 minutes ago. I'm currently at home, freshly showered, laundering some clothes, and hoping to go to sleep very soon.

Glad you had such a rewarding day yesterday. And that you got to spend some quality time with your dear friend on the phone. Wonderful.

OK.. Mutti's doing her puzzles, breakfast is done, dishes washed up, have a load of clothes going... now to take advantage of the few minutes free time and jump in the shower!

G'day !

Popping in on my way to bed. A beautiful first day of winter here today.
Took the two "boys" to the dog park, they had fun socialising and I almost got knocked over by one playful and enthusiastic HUGE pooch.
His mistress was most concerned and apologetic, but I just laughed. It was funny. He came bounding up to me, reared up on his back legs, rested his front paws on my shoulders and planted a big wet smooch on my cheek! He towered over me! It was incredible. Just so cute and funny. The poor lady was apologising profusely. I reassured her I was fine. That was a "first" for me!
After the dog park, I visited a friend to deliver her birthday gift and share a cuppa. Otherwise, a quiet sunday for me.

Good Morning everyone!

My agenda sirI - I tossed some clothes in the wash so I'll have something to wear to church. I walked out on the wet grass to get the Sunday paper. I am sipping hot coffee.

Church, yard work, that is it.

Got a call from the hospice nurse on call that one of our patients died. One of the least likely ones too.
