I wish I had that voice-activated feature portrayed in recent car commercials, but I'm sure even THAT'S not perfect!

And, you're not alone, as while I was driving ds to his meeting tonight, I spotted a young woman pulling into an intersection, hand on her phone, gabbing away!!

As is the way with me in recent times; I'm out of the loop and not keeping up with my posting!

Just popping in to say G'day and hoping everyone is going ok.

Had the echocardiogram yesterday. The tech seemed "happy" with what she saw on the monitor, but said the cardiologist has the final say. I see him next week.
I'm feeling ok, would like to feel even better than I do, but guess you can't have everything, aye?

DH's at the vet with one of the "boys". He's unable to put his front (L) leg down. Can't weight bear. We can't see anything to indicate what the problem is. Poor ol pooch, perhaps he's like his owner, got osteoarthritis! LOL

Received the bill for the trip in the ambulance the other week. $721!!!!
Glad I've got the insurance cover!

DD is coming for tea tonight. We'll have a nice roast lamb with roasted veggies.

DS is still deployed.

Ok, need to read some threads and see what's happening!

Hi Di, just read your post and here in Oz it's illegal to use a mobile phone while driving. The fine is around the $500 mark!
Mind you, it doesn't stop some people from using one! *sigh*

We have to be "hands-free," but hey! Sez nothing about texting, and I know ppl who text as they drive, lol!!! MUCH more dangerous, IMO!

Oh, yes! Those "texters!" A friend is wicked at doing that! I always scold her, but .......
