yeah...i know it is.
but in the absence of any other cardiac comorbids, svt's are usually benign.
and while tiff is usually a hypochondriac, this time, i think she's refusing to go to the doctor in fear of them finding something and not being able to leave for the usmc.

thanks for the well wishes, diary.
today, she's fine.
tomorrow's the big party.
hubby just rubbed a pig (no, not me).

it's really happening, my baby girl leaving.
approx 100 people are expected to the party.
hubby's psyched that he'll have drinking buddies.
i'll be the designated driver.
should be 'interesting' considering i despise alcohol.
but tiff is soooo excited.
my baby girl...

Re: question about mi

Since she was carrying something, a pulled muscle from moving the wrong way carrying something at chest level can cause similar symptoms too....

MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia: Heart disease and women

Medscape Nurses 2004:Measuring Early and Acute Signs of MI for Women.

Nursing Jan 2008: Women & heart disease: What's new?

Encourage her that if it occurs again to seek medical help. Enjoy the party too.

oh gawd, we have enough food to feed a couple of neighborhoods.
and since both hubby and tiff have a TON of friends, i'm expecting a few hundred people throughout the course of the day.
and not a pulled muscle.
the box she was toting, had rolls in it...very light in weight.
she leaves 5/26.

first time i took her pulse, i swore it was in the 160's...i got like 28 in 10 sec so i started over and took it for a full minute... got 148.
she was just so classically symptomatic.
scary.

i told her today that if it happens again before she leaves, i'll call her recruiter if she refuses to seek medical care.
i won't repeat what she said.

ftr, it wasn't my idea for a pig roast.
and it horrified me to see hubby lugging in a pig over his shoulders today.
dang, they even keep the eyeballs in.
(i never knew pigs were so slim)
i'll stick with the salads i made.

Not nervous but since it was personalized, we do indeed have to close it, for consistencies sake.

Thanks for understanding and best of luck.
