I'm sorry. DH and I have been down this road off and on since programming jobs started getting outsourced overseas. It's how I ended up a nurse.

don't knw what kind of work your dh does but one of the best perks in being a nurse is that you can find a job just about anywhere maybe relocation is a viable idea

I know the feeling, we had a car crash on oct 6th and dh hasnt been able to work since, and is still not fit, I didnt miss any work and was told not to return after going to employee health on wednesday for my tb. I am having surgery on a torn rotator cuff on wednesday, but was going to work up until the surgery and return as soon after as I could without losing time off from work. so rather than let me work with a restriction I am laid off.
so now we have no income at all. the american way of life is a very strange one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I'll also be praying for you and DH. Good Luck on the surgery. Please let us know how it goes. Both my DH & Myself need this surgery, put I have been putting it off as I am also the only one working.
