Morning peeps!!

Watching Nick at Nite. Growing Pains is on - I had the biggest crush on Kirk Cameron in the day. Now I feel old. At least I don't know who Leif Garret is or Danny Bonaduci.

Must go back to my apt today. Haven't been there in three weeks!!! Bills will be piled up and I'll end up drinking. I hate checking my email and mailbox. Someone is always reminding me my bill is due in 5 days or my phone bill is going up. I hate being a grown up.

Are you having a party? Have you seen the new Spiderman doll for kids? It's alot like the new Elmo. Very cute.

I wish I worked nights. I'm much more alert at night than I am during the day.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes this weekend ! It certainly was eventful! Party yesterday was so nice; family and friends to celebrate with !
My girls brought my wedding albums and had my bouquet re-created; also had a copy of my wedding invitation!
they gave us a portrait of the four of them... will post some pics when i get them ( will have dd help cuz i have yet to figure it out!)
well better get going work day today. and it will be 80 degrees!!! then i have my routine mammo after work;. hope everyone has a happy & productive day!!

That was sweet of them to do that.

I've been trying for years to get my db to take a family photo for mother's day. He won't but I'm hoping this year he'll do it. My mom loves loves loves her grandbabies - 2 sets of twin girls and I think the photo of me, my db and sis and the kids would melt her heart. I'm hoping that picture would allow her to forgive me for giving her all those gray hairs when I was a teenager.

Good morning all. Another beautiful day here today although they are calling for rain and possible thunderstorms tonight.

I only have one article to work on today, my never-ending projects, both of them are FINISHED! Which is good but it also leaves me with a couple of wholes in my day so I guess it will be a marketing day again. I also have to negotiate a contract for a regular project. I read it over yesterday and find they put a "payment 45 days after delivery clause." Blech. I don't understand why freelancers are put at the bottom of the totem pole like that. My bills have to be paid within 30 days, so I should be to.

OTOH, if that's the worst thing I have in life right now, I will say I must be doing pretty well.

Thank you, Beth, for starting the thread this morning. So very glad you are feeling better. That's an answer to prayer.

I'll be doing visits at work today. Then I have to get to Sam's Club and the library to return and get more books.
