Here's the list of players: - Victoria, 26, Retail manager - executed in Week 4
- Mark, 42, History Teacher and Soccer Coach
- Bobby, 25, Restaurant Manager - for two games he's been holding his side like he's having some kind of pain; they put him in a wheelbarrow and pushed him around in last night's episode because he was having so much trouble keeping up with all the walking during the second game - executed in Week 3
- Marcie, 31, Stay At Home Mom--a lot of people thought she was the mole, but she was executed in Week 1
- Nicole, 33, OB/GYN doctor - a whiner and not liked; was chosen to sleep outside the first night and refused to do it finding a way to work around the rules; got the first exemption because she was chosen as the whiner of the group and had to spend the second night sleeping out on the beach which also came, the group found out later, with an exemption from execution which ticked off the group - I paid close attention (because I taped the episode) to who was the first to speak up and nominate her to be the whiner of the group--that person, I believe, as the mole, would have known the whiner was going to get an exemption
- Paul, 29, Utility Worker - tried to form a coalition with Marcie who got executed; a lot of people think he and Alex are working together in a coalition since they seem to be calling a lot of shots for the group; he claims they are not
- Alex, 31, Musician - very athletic; deliberately left his journal in one of the bedrooms for two other players to read - executed in Week 6
- Liz, 60, Retiree - executed in Week 2
- Ali, 24, Model - gone in Week 3 after taking a $30,000 offer to leave
- Clay, 32, Attorney
- Craig, 30, Graphic Artist - very obese - a lot of people are suspicious that he might be the mole since he comes close to performing successfully at some games or else not at all and just goofs off
- Kristen, 35, Neuroscientist - executed in Week 5
One of the players last night said he had a photographic memory and has no need to write anything in his journal, but his face wasn't on camera when he said it, so I don't know who it was.
There have been 4 games so far, 2 per episode. Before each game, the host asks the group to choose people to be certain "labeled" players in the games. - game 1 - they had to choose the person they thought was the mole (Marcie). She chose 5 bags to put $10,000 into and 6 bags with mole money ($0). Then she had to choose, secretly, which players would grab the money bags off a line hanging over a waterfall as each player went over the waterfall on a raft. In the end, only 2 players actually managed to grab bags that had real money in them.
- game 2 - Robinson Crusoe hunt - on a beach they first had to pick a "whiner" (Nicole). The whiner then had to pick 6 scavengers who had to find as many of the objects hidden on the beach as they could find (Craig, Marcie, Alex, Bobbie, Victoria, Clay), 3 Appraisers who had to decide which 5 objects Alexander Selkirk (the real life person the story of Robinson Crusoe was based on) had with him when he was stranded on an island in 1704 (Kristen, Liz, Mark) and 2 Timekeepers who had to keep filling an hourglass with sand so it wouldn't run out and give the appraisers 3 chances and ten minutes of time to collect objects and determine the 5 objects Selkirk had with him on the island from his ship (Paul, Ali).
- game 3 - had to play soccer with local children's team to earn a ride via a sky gondola to a monument on the top of a mountain. Two players were chosen to bike up to a monument. If the bikers got there first, they got exemption from execution and no money got put into the pot.
- game 4 - had to collect ceramic piggy banks made by a local artisan that had been hidden all over the town. One of the piggy banks had a coin giving the finder an exemption from execution, but the players were not told this.

I love this show!! I was a huge fan of the original show (not the celebrity version) in which Anderson Cooper hosted. There were only 2 regular seasons of it. I think it's a brilliant concept, great show.
I watched the first episode but haven't seen the second one yet (was planning on catching up on my shows tonight as it's my night off, but my TV broke ). I'll get caught up this weekend and would be happy to join in on the discussion!

On Monday night Ali chickened out and took a $30,000 bribe and quit the game before the results of her elimination test were revealed. Bobby, who a lot of people thought was the mole was executed. He said he had watched the show since it began and was a big fan.
Anyone have any ideas about the mole yet? I think Paul and Nicole are trying to make people believe they are the mole, but it is just game strategy. I'm very suspicious of Victoria and Craig. And I'm not so sure of Mark either.

I'm glad they brought the Mole back. I was beginning to think it was a gonner. I like that show a lot. You can't really figure out who the Mole is until toward the end, because the real Mole plays her/his role so well.

Did anybody watch on Monday night? Victoria got executed. She was one of my picks for the mole. Guess I was wrong. She could have had an exemption, but Clay demanded it and she didn't fight hard for it. Craig got hypothermia and was sent to the hospital and missed the big event at dinner where everyone's journal except Alex's was burned up. Alex doesn't write anything in his journal anyway. Mark had a hissy fit about it and sauntered off to pout and with good reason because he spent a lot of time writing all kinds of stuff in that journal. Craig returned the next night and as a sort of bonus, I guess you could say, he gets to keep his journal since he missed the night the others had to turn them in to be burned. Nicole and Paul now have both said they are acting like the mole to distract everyone. Talk about this game making you confused and paranoid!

Well, in case anyone missed it this week, it was Kristen that got the boot, There is now only one female left in the group--Nicole, the doctor that no one likes. Who is the mole?

She and Paul are my guesses. She sure sure doesn't act like a doctor though. I was sad to see Alex get executed this week. He and Paul were pretty close.

Mark has been my top mole suspect for a while now.
A few reasons why I believe Mark is the mole:
On the first episode, during the beach scavenger hunt, Mark was part of the appraising team. They only got 3 items right. It's hard to believe that Mark, as a history teacher, couldn't tell that blue jeans and a revolver weren't around in the early 1700s.
He opted out of the challenge in which they had to run around town in their underwear and ask for clothes. When Jon first explained what was to happen, Mark dis-robed, he seemed like he was ready to go. Then when Clay opted out, Mark also opted out, with no explanation as to why he didn't want to participate.
However, during the episode in which the journals were burned ..... I started doubting whether Mark was really the mole or not. If he is the mole, then he's a great actor. His upset and anger over the loss of his journal seemed really genuine.
I started doubting him as the mole ... until this past episode on Mon.
The challenge was for a team to figure out brain teasers, relay the coordinates to a team that would then find a bottle of wine, adding money to the pot .... all the while Mark had to stay on the treadmill. On the 2nd brain teaser, the board that had the question for the players to read, read this way: "Which number should replace the questions mark?" When they showed the question on the TV screen, it was corrected, to read: "Which number should replace the question mark?"
They all did great in the challenge. If Mark was the mole, he very well could have not helped out in answering the questions, given a wrong answer, or quit running on the treadmill. The fact that he performed so well has me questioning if he's really the mole. But the clue there on the 2nd brain teaser .......... "questions mark", is a big red flag for me.

True, but being a doctor, Victoria would have known math, and she appeared to stumble on every question when it came to that challenge with finding the wine bottles.
There have been other stumbles she has made in the past also. She refused to go in the cabin in the beginning of the game for one. It's difficult for me to remember details in past episodes, but the test for Victoria jumping off the bridge with the bungie cord was another. She was the only person who did the jump perfectly, and still missed the target.
