It's been really hot again today. Temp predicted to be 41C = 105.8F tomorrow. *melts*

It's now evening here, and it's still quite warm outside.

I bought a few DVD's at the shops this afternoon. They were going out for $10 each.
"Pride & Prejudice" - Keira Knightley.**
"Little Women" - Winnona Ryder**
"Big Chill"-Glen Close, William Hurt.*

**Haven't seen either of these films with this cast.
* Haven't seen this film-period!
So, have some movie viewing to keep me occupied indoors, with the a/c running, during the heatwave!

I've been diligent on the treadmill these past few days since hiring it. Wish I'd done this sooner. Far better being in your own home, A/c going to keep cool, TV or music on for company, water bottle handy for hydration ..... yep, sure beats being out in that heat pounding the footpath!

Here, this morning, it's gale force winds and mega storms. had to drive back from work extra slowly, to avoid the fallen trees and debris on the roads. I'm SO looking forward to driving back there at half past six tonite!! AND we had a flood through our ward ceiling last nite!! Had to get all the laundry carts and baths out to catch the water..the weather was so fierce! Thought at one point the windows were coming in, and I moved my babies to the other side of the room. Please send good wishes for better weather to Scotland..it's been way to freaky weather wise in the last week here!!!

Nice to wake up and see that we had some rain over night.

Hmmmm did not sleep well from 3am on *sighs* Oh well get through today and have an early night tonight.

DSS has headed back to San Jose so it is quiet in the house now. He always manages to leave something behind but this time we took him back to his mother's so she could take him to the airport in the morning. So all we had to do was turn around and take his paper work to him for his online studies. He can be such a wally at times LOL

Hubster is into the Med/Surg now and working his widdle tail off and it has only been two days. I think he is going to enjoy this semester.

Busy busy busy day for me today with 6-7 visits, I have to try to squeeze in 4 supervisory visits hahahahahaha interesting at least!!

Have a sooooooper day one and all.

Oh yeah and I got ANOTHER new admission yesterday too LOL

Lots of wind and rain here last night as well. But I don't live in Scotland.

I hope everyone has a good day.
Today is a funeral for a 16 year old girl who collapsed in school after c/o headache she (you know it) brain anuersym. DS wants to attend unfortanetly I cant go with him but he will go with some friends. I didn't really want to go, I have been to a 13y/o funeral and it just too heart wrenching. They are holding a burger bash at the local mcdonalds tonight 10% of all sales will go for funeral expenses. So we are eating at mcd tongiht.
Well on that note I need to get in the shower.

I don't know about sending good weather to Scotland - Montreal is getting whacked pretty bad. There's a wicked wind out there right now and a heavy wind warning.
By the way, are you anywhere near Dumbarton? That's where my husband's parents are from.

Sorry about the flood at work. I can't imagine. Yikes!

oh no, how heart breaking.

Not too busy a day here although I have to do some extra work to make up for getting out tomorrow morning and Friday morning. Friday I go for my second root canal appointment to finish the job. The area has been sensitive so I hope that doesn't mean there's a problem.

If I'm lucky, I'll sneak in some Wii playing time! :mchmrdnc:

How 'bout a sunrise this morning? I didn't see one of those either. BUT...what I DID see was frosty wind-ers, ice and snow... So...there ya go GRACE in OZ...some coolin' off fer ya today.

I'm off work today. Up VERY early...couldn't stay in bed any longer. Got a dentist appointment today. THAT alone raises my anxiety level. Haven't seen a dentist in four years. I know, I know...shame on me. It just takes a LOT to get me there. Anyhoo...I'm going today...will be shaking in the dentist chair two hours from now, so ya'll pray fer me, ya hear?

Okay...next post...BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER ALL IN ONE!
