Looks exscellent. That was a standard lunch when I was little. The sandwich was made with Wonder Bread and Velveeta, and the soup was Campbell's and we smashed crackers into it.

Good afternoon. Quiet day here. There are lots of things I should be doing....but just don't feel like doing anything.

Kind of a hard week and weekend for me with all the ads about Father's Day. I couldn't even bring myself to look for a Father's Day card for dh.

Netters.....I love the pictures of Minnie. I don't have any really recent pictures of my grand-Jack to post. I sure miss the little dickens.

I still have problems with father's day too.

Food looks good Siri--I love grilled cheese. Great comfort food. I'm a little too warm for soup though although my mom always served grilled cheese with tomatoe soup. Thanks for the memories.

Well - busy thread today - nice to "see" everyone

Baseball game is over. Heading to a birthday party for one of Danny's friends. My oldest took off to visit a high school friend. My daughter headed downstairs to take a nap. She got some nice prizes at Sober Grad including Giants tickets for MONDAY. So she and 5 friends head for San Fran on Monday.

I ate some left-over tri-tip from our bbq last night. Lots of pepper, salt and horseradish. Yum.

Better get up from here . . . .

Hope you all are having a good Saturday.
I've been away from here this week----have been hugely BUSY.
I don't really know what's been going on here.

Wed. afternoon we had an appt. for my Mom at her MD.
I was shocked when I saw my Mom when we picked ger up!!
I talk with my Mom EVERY day--sometimes twice a day. She says she's fine, but had been having a bit of shortness of breath.
She denied any cough;
Well, when we picked her up, I wasn't sure she'd make it to the Doctor.
They did an EKG at the office & found besides being fluid overloaded, she was in A-Fib. So, we had to take her to the ER.
They admitted her & she is still in hospital. She has the new A-Fib,
CHF Exacerbation, and pneumonia.
So, we've been back and forth to the hospital.
She was pretty poor when admitted-- today she is better, but still quite SOB with minimal exertion. She's still being monitored.
She's so weak; She's going to start PT Monday.
So, we'll see.

She's 91 & she's SO Stubborn!!!
Don't know what we'll end up doing.
As it is, my Bro & SIL live in the house, they have a small apt in the basement. They wanted to take her to the ER last weekend, but she refused. Get This, THEY DIDN"T BOTHER TO TELL ME ANY OF THIS.

Oh well!! Anyway, we'll have to see how this all ends up.
