Who else is up and awake? I won't be for long. I wanted to thank all who've kept my family and me in prayer. Please keep it coming.
I've got the endless coffee pot cranking for all you early rising caffeine guzzlers. I think some bagels with cream cheese would be good with that. Or maybe a buttered english muffin with peanut butter and/or jelly.

Had to watch Grey's Anatomy and ER. Then I started in on the computer and here I sit, with Jay Leno in the background.

Good day at work in the ER today - interesting patients and fun co-workers.

Roy - It was a great week because you survived a scary experience.

Just watched the video - wow, put me right back in Vietnam.

G'day everyone!
It's friday evening here in Oz. It's been a busy day here. The last of the carpet has been laid, it looks lovely! SSSOOO soft to walk on too! We've been like furniture removalists, shifting things here, there and everywhere! You wouldn't want to replace the whole house of carpet too often!!!! Still, it's done now and we get to enjoy living with nice flooring under our feet! :-)
It's great having DS home. The time will fly and he'll be gone again, *sniff*.
He looks well so that makes this mother feel happy.

I've been toying with returning to work. This being retired is all well and good, but sometimes I get bored and feel as though I'd like to have the challenges again. I know, you probably think I'm nuts! I must admit, when I read some of the posts and learn of the problems some folks are dealing with, I do wonder why the heck I'd even consider returning to the nursing workforce. Anyway, as I say, I'm only toying with the idea at present.

I'm up. I can't sleep again. I have an appointment at 3pm for baby girl to be requalified or redo her BASIS eval. It has to be done, for her to qualify for special grant money to pay for her meds, pediasure, and diapers. I need to go order Hubby and DS's boyscout uniforms. I also need groceries in a bad way. Well off to more exploring. Have a great morning everyone.
