Well the old eye was stuck shut again, but not quite as bad as yesterday morning.

Well I don't want to stay home (No I'm not crazy......It's just that are a couple of people having surgery today that I wanted to check on). But I guess I'm still contagious. So..................

Well, I know you don't want to stay home and have obligations, but.......
Bizarre to get pink eye as an adult with no contact with children. How do you think you contracted it, tn?

Well it's quite possible that I got it from a co-worker's grandson(she is not a nurse). She brought him to work last week and he probably had it. In fact, he asked me to look at his eyes. At the time, he had no crusting or redness, but after I examined them thinking I was looking for something in his eye, he told me they were "glued shut" that morning. So, I probably infected myself.

Well, I'm assuming that's why he was with her and not at preschool. It is an issue I will have to address with her. Kind of a sticky situation.

I'm sure it is a sticky situation. But, she cannot bring a child to work if he's sick. You're losing a days' work and cannot fulfill your obligations. Plus, you had to see a HCP and be tx.
I'd definitely say something. I realize you have to handle this very carefully, too.
Good luck!!

I am hoping my absence today will make an impact on her as well.
