Friday GREETINGS to everyone!!!

I'm finally feeling a bit more like myself...the last chemo regimen started yesterday. I have five more Thursdays to go, and then God willing, I may be able to refer to myself as a survivor. I've learned that taking it a day at a time, and marking them off on my calendar, goes a long way towards making this so manageable...it's amazing how quickly this journey has gone. And I've had wonderful support from my family and friends, those that I see routinely and those that I know from allnurses. Thank you all so much. So, yeaterday knocked me for a loop with the fatigue, but no n/v, thank God. I ate some supper, and this morning I slept until 11:00, but I feel great! 2 cups of coffee, some raisin bran and fresh grapefruit and I'm doin' fine. Tonight we'll grill some chicken quarters for dinner.

That's enough about me...blah blah blah.

I hope all of you are doing well, and I'm sorry not to address you all personally. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TWEETY!!!

Jnette, oddly, we're warmer than you today... About mid 60's, but no sun. Since the last time I sent you weather and it backfired, I'm afraid I'm at a loss as to how to help... Maybe Kat can get you some...?

Well, it has finally warmed up to 63 degrees here, Don, but with the wind it feels more like 53. Maybe tomorrow. I so need a relaxing weekend out in my backyard. Last weekend was when I had heard about Adam (well a few days before that) and I spent all weekend FUMING and cleaning. The madder I got, the harder and better I cleaned! Heh. So now I need some time to chill. No...take that back... time to WARM up in my bacyard and just kick back !

I hate that I can't read the threads, and respond to your posts dear ones. Prayerfully, I will be able to do so soon.

I've only got ten minutes on the computer today. Library closes in forty minutes, and all I could get on was the fifteen minute express computer. (Go figure)

So....today, I won two round trip tickets to anywhere in the USA where Air Trans Airlines flies (mostly on the eastcoast, and a few places on the west coast, and a few in the midwest. Will be praying as to where God would have me make use of those tickets! I'm still in shock I believe as I've NEVER won ANYTHING in my whole life! LOL!!!
