A quick good morning from here.. still very windy.. brrrrr !
Talked with dd last noc.. she had her last baby class and her instructors told her it would be no more than 3-4 days. They could tell just by watching how she moved, how her face scrunched up with the prodromal ctx., etc. Ther was no doubt in their minds. She goes for her ob exam today.. can't wait to hear if she's dilated and how much. Moon changes tonight, too.. so it could even be today or tomorrow ! OMG!
BUT .... I'm still saying Superbowl Sunday... just 'cuz.
Commuter.. good luck with the interview and I hope they give you the hours you want/need.
Zoe.. glad Papa is doing well !
Gotta get.. off to work I go !

Good Morning/Good Night
bethin I think we had the same weather (ohio) the wind blew all night up to 50 some miles/hour rain then snowed. the weather man this morning said his door was frozen and he pulled his handle off (apparenly he is either very strong or not to bright).
Jnette I am excited for you waiting on that little baby.
Commuter good luck on your job hunting/interview

So I'm sure a miniature cat won't be a worry to the owner....
BTW noticed that there were only four pages on yesterday's thread. Is that because I forgot the month?
BTW Angie, how the heck do you watch allnurses on your mobile phone? Doesn't it cost a bomb?
I just watched an interesting programme about a 'plane graveyard' in the middle of the desert somewhere in the US. It was Australian produced. We use F1-11s in our airforce at the moment, and apparently are one of the last countries to do so. Apparently we are scavaging parts off these things? Alot of those planes are still in good working order and are flown regularly...but still! Does anyone remember the 'Phantoms'. They are being prepared as 'drone planes', to have no actual pilot but be remote controlled, fully functional, flying in the air, and the US airforce are going to use live missiles to shoot them as target practice! Made me want to go and visit!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a good morning. I've been off for 2 days.. Go back tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous. I have a senior nursing student with me for the next 10 shifts. I've precepted before, but not for such a long period.
So, we found out this morning that my boyfriend got the job he wanted!!! He interviewed the first week in January and they just told him this morning. We are SUPER excited!!! He graduated in December and there really aren't any jobs in our area for his major. We were either going to have to move down state or to GA.. SO WOO HOO!!!
Hope y'all have a wonderful day!

Tiger, according to your years experience you have listed 1 year. That is not a disadvantage. Remember how you felt when you were a student? You may be better at helping him/her feel more comfortable. And a year out of school is handy too, because although you've not been long out (join the cluB hellloooo), you do have up to date information). And a senior nursing student will be more helpful and you can share information between each other...
Its all good mate!!!
And I am so pleased for you and your boyfriend as well!
