Talking Good for a laugh

I spent some time with my nieces Monday evening and Kennedy asked me if she could have some candy. I told her no, that it's 7pm and she'll be bouncing off the walls with all that sugar.

She cocked her head to the side, looked at me quizzically, and said "but Aunt Elizabeth, I can't bounce off the walls. I can't get my feet up on them!"

I really needed that laugh. Kids are looking better and better. When you're worried, they say something funny to make you forget and when you're sad there's nothing like a sticky kiss that tastes like my lipstick they play with.

I love this stage. I want them to stay 3 forever but yet I'm curious to see what kind of adults they'll be. What will I do when they grow up? Who will I play dress up and make up with?

I can guess that Emma will do something along the lines of nurse, social worker, peace corps, etc as she is a giver. Kennedy will be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.
