Requirements for running Chat software in your browser:

Windows System: Java enabled web browsers. Examples include Internet Explorer 3.xx, IE 4.xx, IE 5.xx, IE 6.xx (with Java Machine), Netscape Navigator 3.xx, Netscape Navigator 4.xx, Netscape Communicator 4.xx, Netscape 5.xx, Netscape 6.xx (with Java plugin), Netscape Gold 3.xx, Speiros(Java-based Internet operating system from Cyrus InterSoft)

Macintosh System: Latest Apple MRJ plugin for Netscape browser and latest Microsoft Virtual Machine for Internet Explorer.

Problems getting the chat window to open?
Anyone with Windows Millenium or XP might need to download JAVA as not included in Windows.

I like the chat feature and it seemed to work fine, but nobody was in the room to chat with me, so I left. Nice if you want to talk real time to some of the friends that you meet on this board.

The new chat room is really nice, I found it easy to use and it has alot of neat functions available (smileys, sounds...etc). Way to go Brian!

Out of curiosity...is there a link other then the one in this post to get to the chat room? Or is that still in the works? it would be nice to get everyone together for a chat this weekend.
