The bad ole gallbladder, she is GONE~

Had my lap choley today and it went GREAT, despite all my nerves and freaking out. The surgeon said it was really inflamed and enlarged and a good thing its' out. I am already home and in bed now. Best part is, the MDA took great care of me; no nausea, no vomiting (a first for me after anesthesia).

Just wanted to let you guys know, it went well, and I should be feeling much better very soon~ I am so relieved and happy this is now behind me, after 2 years' misery, I feel like celebrating!

That's good news. I thought of you today and am happy to hear everything went so well. Don't go back to work too soon. Rest up and take care of yourself for a while to avoid complications. (You know that, but I wanted to say it anyway.)

Take care. Enjoy your recouperation!

Deb, I'm so sorry I didn't know you were having surgery!!! However, I am so glad it was successful and that you're feeling so much better. Do take care of yourself, and keep in touch, OK?

Hugs to you!

I'm so glad to hear all went well...........I knew it would, you've been in my thoughts and prayers, and I've had a good feeling all day that you got through things OK. Yes, you'll be a little sore for a few days, but it goes away quickly. And hey, lucky you, having almost four weeks off---enjoy every minute of it, and let dh and the kids pamper YOU a bit!

You are going to be SO happy you had this done, Deb........just go easy on fats and fiber for awhile, both of 'em tend to cause gas and/or diarrhea and it's NOT pleasant. Otherwise, just kick back and enjoy the rest; you deserve it!!

Take care, sweetie~
