Bach Rescue Remedy

Is anyone familiar with this natural remedy? Does one need to be concerned about side effects or interactions? I remember my aunt used to carry it around with her and it works wonders on distressed cats.

Hmmm, that's a new one for me . . but then I'm not as familiar with herbals as some. I'm gonna do an internet search . . .

I found information/reviews at the above links. I didn't check on every last little link, though. My search words were "Bach Rescue Remedy" side effects. No one mentions any side effects; some said it didn't work for them; some use it for dogs and cats' anxieties. Interesting product, adrienne! Some of the reviews come from the UK, BTW.

I'm curious if anyone on the BB has ever used it . . .

Re: Bach Rescue Remedy

I've known about it for quite some time and I know several people in my office who swear by it. One of our nurse practitioners recommended it for a patient with anxiety issues who reacted badly to benzos and it seemed to really help her. I have not tried it personally.

I also used to be on a dog training email list and there were quite a few dog enthusiasts who swore by it for keeping their pets calm when taking them to the vet or travelling etc.

I have never heard of anyone having a bad reaction to it, but then you are taking such a teeny amount it would seem unlikely that one would occur.
