Am taking a five minute break from work. Busy day - Got up around 1 pm to go to a baby shower with my sister's friend and her sister, (and my sister ) Took a 45 minute nap and then got back up and came into work, where all is chaos!

It's getting straightened out though!


Must run and get back to work - I still have strips, pathways adn the code cart to get checked off while I have a free minute.

Ugh, I hate April Fool's Day.

But good morning!

I went out and bought a fish tank with tropical fish early this am. Set it up, let it acclimate, got the water to the proper temp, added salt, etc. Put the fish in and watched them swim for a bit. Made something to eat and turn around and they're laying at the bottom - lifeless. I cried. I can't even keep fish alive!!! So I took them out to flush them when I saw life. I put them back in the water and they're still a little sluggish but alive. I bought a crab too but he's still in a butter container. He can't be submerged in water so I guess I'll buy another small tank for him.

They'll be dead by the end of the week.

Went to Michael's today to spruce up my apt. Nothing had been hanging on the walls so I bought lots of little frames I'm going to group together. I copy photos from www.flickr.com and print those and use them. Probably not legal. Hey, I'm a poor college student.

Hope everyone has a great day! I don't have much planned except cleaning and hanging pictures.

Thanks Bethin- going good so far - was really busy when I got here, but is settled a bit for the moment while I am on lunch break. It is really cold tonight! It was in the 40's when I left for work.

Thinking about where to go to next when this assignment ends at the end of July. I am thinking Savannah, Ga. Looks like an interesting city......

I've been thinking about a vacation to Savannah. A coworker went there and loved it, she said it was better than Charleston, SC. I love old cities.

Beth, sorry about the fish; In the past, I have tried fish---with NO luck, either. They die; don't know what I do to them.
Years ago, in our old apt, I had TONS of flowers & plants & they were beautiful--------ever since we moved to our house--oh about 28 or so years ago or so, every plant or flower I bring in is dead in days----maybe even minutes!!!!LOL
So I know how you feel.

Have not read the morning threads in several days, so I need to catch up on what's going on.

I have appt at Dermatologist this AM for suture removal from the biopsies.
She called me Mon. Said the Biopsies showed "Hypersensitive skin".
She will give me stronger antihistamine & some more cream & other pills.
In the meantime, my itching has gotten even worse---even right now I'm itching all over!!
All weekend, when I was off, I was just sleeping every time I sat down.
I was taking benadryl--it didn't dtop the itching but when I sleep I don't itch, so there was that relief.
DH is not real happy, tho, as he would prefer his wife to be awake with him at least part of the time!!! LOL!!!

Well, we;ll see what actually comes to pass in the AM.

I just checked on the fish - 3 are swimming (yay!) and I fear one is dead in the vegetation. I'm having fun with the crab though - picked him up and played with him for a bit. Never attempted to pinch me.

I need to go to sleep - I have to work Wed. 7a-3p so I need a good nite's rest tonight and I won't get that if I sleep all day.

Once again I'm considering home health. My job is in the crapper. I can't take another 1.5 years of this place not following regulations and laws.

Ok all...come back... is 2 am and I can't sleep, these nights mess my sleep schedule, loooooool.

Much more I am stress out I miss a lot of my dancing classes and saturday I will go to a party... OMG need to learn tile then couple of steps...loooooool.... look here in the middle of night I dance trying to catch the steps...loveeeeee this songs..ok .. let's try again and I will going to sleep, please pray for me to not blushing saturday, looool. bethin I hope your fish survive.

Mary I do hope you finally get relief from all that itching.

Up early, d/t orientation for the new clinical site this morning. Then class this afternoon. We normally have clinicals Wednesday...I hope they're not having orientation today and then clinicals tomorrow too!

Emailed HR at the hospital, told them that I wasn't free for the week long orientation until at least mid-June. Hopefully we can work something out. Not that I need to work as a CNA...or work at all while in school...but the experience might be nice.
