Did anyone watch this last night? It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of $1 million. It isn't American Idol. There were some really raunchy acts, but there were two outstanding acts. There was a precious little 4 year old girl who sang "Somewhere Out There." The last performer was an insurance saleman who is an opera singer. He was wonderful!!!

That little girl is very talented!!!! She's so cute.

The guy got really emotional didn't he? Bet he can really sing when he's all composed. Still, it was very good.

I did hear the opera guy, I think he would be good too if he was more composed (boy it ws hard to keep my OWN composure just watching him!)

Someone else did his song on "Brittain's Got Talent", another unassuming guy (cell phone salesman ) Even Simon was impressed!

The whole premise reminds me too much of the Gong Show---they'd toss one or two talented competitors in the middle of a vast array of truly awful acts. It was excruciating to me to watch no-talent, no-class people humiliate themselves on national television, so I've just never really gotten into this sort of thing. Sorry.

But I'm sooo glad that little girl is going on to Las Vegas with her mommy and daddy. I loved her rendition of "Over the Rainbow."
