LPN Case Managers?

Case Management has just moved into my department and our director is requesting LPNs to be prepared to work as case managers. I am not yet familiar enough to know the standards for this, but am learning FAST. do any of you guys have LPNs as Case Managers, prior to this change we have just always used RNs. would LOVE to hear from LPNs who now do Case Management. thanks a lot!
