Now where do you find jobs for CCM in Augusta, GA?

Had to take the exam twice before passing - not a difficult test but make sure you read the CM Handbbook ( this book helped me pass the second time around).

I sat for ACMA's ACM Certification x2. The 1st time was the very first exam, lots of confusion, poorly organized, a real mess -- but I passed one of two sections only. Missed the second one by two questions. Retook for free, since so many people complained about the clarity of instructions on the 2nd test (the one I flunked) that they let us all retake, I missed it by one question. I found these exams to be incredibly difficult, much more so than the ANCC exams I have taken for other certs I have. I've been doing case management >10 years, so I felt pretty defeated. But, I'm going to try again, when I get my chin back off the floor. HA HA wish me luck.

Okay, for the CCM exam through the CCMC coming this October 28, 2006, the domain focus areas have changed. Also, the scoring has changed to scaled scoring. Should I attempt to take this exam revision now or defer it until next April? Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

I have done case mgmt for > 10 yrs. Also did legal nurse consulting & was certified. I am having a horrible time with the certification registration process. 2 of the jobs I've held since 1995 no longer exist & one of my former supervisors has disappeared. My current manager, who is an MSN (no less) is having difficulty w/ putting a job description together that pleases the credentials reviewer. The 1st application ended w/ the reviewer saying that I had not had enough experience (?). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
