I was a school nurse teacher for two years and an elementary teacher for 25 years. I am going into nursing again. I finished a refresher course in med surg, and I am presently enrolled in an MSN Program where I would become a MHNP. Do you think my teaching ability will be helpful? Do you think getting a masters and becoming a PMHNP would be helpful? Krisssy

Re: school nurse-teacher-disability nurse

There is an extreme shortage of advanced practice pediatric mental health providers. Your services would be in great demand.
