Talking Question....

I just found out today that I passed my LPN boards, and right now I work in a community home (for the mentally disabled (we have autism, ms, cp, etc)), I would like to know if there is other places or how I would find out more about other places that I could find to work with a group like this.

Otherwise I guess I should be asking my job about a promotion...LOL

I work in a Pedi LTC Facility. We have a lot of MR, MS, SZ, etc. kids. Are you working with kids or adults?

P.S. CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR LICENSE :hatparty:

Congrats on passing your exam!!!

I would talk to a social worker to find out where this patient population is served in your area. If you are in East Texas this might be an underserved population and you would be in demand. Other sources would be social workers and psychologists offices in hospitals, etc. They might know names of facilities. Good luck.

Right now I'm working with adults.

I live in Wisconsin, so I'll have to do some research!
