Hi, I was just curious if anyone has ever worked with a nurse that is a Parapalegic?
I was told Parapalegics couldn't be nurses and I was wondering about it. If you can be able to do the work and complete your duties. I believe you should be allowed to work. Anyone else have any opinions on it?
When I was a nursing student I worked with a paraplegic nurse at a rehabilitation hospital. It was amazing what a great job she could do! Most of the patients at that hospital were paraplegic themselves. She had so much energy and was an inspiration to both staff and patients.
Is anyone on this site who has a disability and works as a nurse..I am currently soing a resarch project on nurses with disabilities and would love to hear from you!
