I was told Parapalegics couldn't be nurses and I was wondering about it. If you can be able to do the work and complete your duties. I believe you should be allowed to work. Anyone else have any opinions on it?

When I was a nursing student I worked with a paraplegic nurse at a rehabilitation hospital. It was amazing what a great job she could do! Most of the patients at that hospital were paraplegic themselves. She had so much energy and was an inspiration to both staff and patients.

Thank you for your replies it's good to know that people that have that type of disability aren't shut off from the world for wanting to do a career.
