Hello all,

I was contacted by Columbus Organization just recently. They state they began in 1984. Their organization works with transitioning MR/DD consumers from the hospital setting to the group home setting. I had just never heard anything about them and could not find anything online. Would any of you know anything about them???? I am working in group home settings and I like it. The pay is fine and my consumers are wonderful!!!

Hope you can help!!

Thanks,

EMMY

Re: columbus organization

I live in Illinois and have not heard of that group either. I am a nurse consultant in the southern part of the state. I have often thought a transitional home would be a good thing. If you do find out anything please post the info. I will ask my supervisor if she has ever heard this Columbus group.
Thanks, Chillie
