Question for some onc nurses!

If you are attempting to get pregnant or are pregnant should you be caring for a patient receiving high dose iodine treatments for thyroid cancer. I will not be administering and I cannot find anything on the web. Any help?

At my hospital we do not have pregnant nurses care for high dose Iodine patients for 7 days post treatment. The high dose outpatients are also instructed to remain at least a social distance from children and pregnant women for at least 7 days.
