hello there. I am new to this site so I hope I am doing this correctly!
I have gone to a few book stores in my town in search of a "pediatric" ccrn study guide and have failed to find any that are pediatric specific. I am just now thinking of testing and wanted to start researching. Besides I am bored and was looking for something to stimulate my mind! Does anyone have any suggestions on good study guides? Oh ya I failed to mention I am smart but a HORRIBLE test taker. thanx tbpicu

I know that your question has been posted sometime ago but I thought I would suggest "Core Curriculum for Pediatric Critical Care Nursing" which you can purchase from the AACN website. I also know that you can get audio tapes for pediatrics. My Clin Ed department had a copy of the tapes so I was able to sign them out.

I took my exam yesterday and I am happy to say that I passed the Pediatric CCRN test on my first attempt. For some reason I thought that ithe questions would have been more detailed then they were.
