Patient Care Coordinator

Hello everyone!!! Hope all of us are doing great....

Last June, I together with 3 other senior nurses of our hospital were designated as new PCC's or Patient Care Coordinators. Basically, our job descriptions are that of the Nurse Supervisor. We are doing the monitoring of all units during the 12-hour shift, decision-making to problems of each units, pacifying irate doctors, patients, and even relatives, etc....

But what are really the functions of being a Patient Care Coordinator? Any information will really help. Thank you very much.

Good day!!!! :hatparty:
