Nurses children in Health Center

Our Camp allows the nurse to bring her children & they stay in the Health Center. They sleep in the beds we have for campers. If a camper needs to use the bed it is stripped and washed. Is this a common practice?

Re: Nurses children in Health Center

Do you mean, is having the nurse's children stay in the health center beds common practice, or do you mean is changing the beds common practice? Yes to both. Many camps don't have a lot of extra bed space, and hopefully those sick beds won't be used too often (as sick beds) anyway. If it's happening way too often, I'd try to find some alternative space.

One of my few irritations is that the health center beds are used as GUEST ROOMS sometimes, and the camp director never seems to understand how hard it is for me to get along minus one or two beds out of four...
