Some camps have a nurse who comes for an hour or two per day in order to check special cases, review records, etc. It depends on how badly this camp needs a nurse--they may be willing to let you set your own schedule.
However, I do think it would be exhausting. Camp nursing is often easy, but there are also often a lot of late nights. I think it could be hard to leave your other job and have to go back to camp--even if you didn't go straight to being on-duty at camp, it might be harder to relax.
Good luck! I would be sure to visit the camp to make sure the living situation and the commute are doable.
Thanks - I do not think that I made it clear that we are both RN so we would be doing a sort of camp Job share.
