Bringing your kids to camp with you

Has anyone been camp nurse at a camp for kids with disabilities that allows your children to attend as campers?? The campers are all very active and not very limited in their activities. You wouldn't even know they had a disability if you didn't know.

I am just returning from my fun experience as camp nurse, and would love to beable to bring my son, but it is not allowed.

Re: Bringing your kids to camp with you

My camp allows the nurse's children to attend camp. I am work at a camp for the developmental disabled. We however have another camp on site for typically developed children. My camp pays the same for both camp nurses.
