Hi there people,I usually hang out in my field which is oncology/hospice/homecare but I need a some tips an suggestions from anyone whos willing. Heres the deal . For the last month or so my husband had been having chest discomfort. Saw a cardiologist a week ago, says he needs a bunch of tests. Yesterday morning he went in for a echo and a nuclear medicine stress test.90 seconds into the stress test he has a significant MI. 911 to large hospital for emergency catherization3 hours on the table, they were not able to get in. was supposed to retry this am. After an echo this am they decided the risk was too great, withdrew the wire and they said once he is stable for 24 he goes home...HUH? My husband is 46,slightly overweight, has a hx of high bp and cholesterol.Plus secondary polycythemia. Any imput thoughts/suggestions.?
