Hello,

I have an interview in a cardiac/med surge floor and don't really know what to ask. I have only done nursing for 1yr and left for 3. Now going back to it would love to try out cardiac but don't know what are things I should be asking in an interview. Any suggestions would be aprreciated. Thanks Cardic Nurses

I would probably ask what the nurse to patient ratio is and what approach they use like primary care or team nursing. Also what general types of cases they have like heart caths, pre/post CABG, pacemakers, cardioversions. And you might ask about the orientation to the floor.
