Smile Salaries for cardiac nurses

Hello all! Can you all tell me please what a starting salary might be for a cardiac nurse either in CCU or a doctor's office? What is an average salary say after 10 years in the field??

Much thanks... Epona

Re: Salaries for cardiac nurses

? In my hospital you all get the same pay,
***Clinic-Med/Surg-Tele-CCU-ER-SNF.***
So guess where all the experienced over-worked nurses that could teach us so much end up. You cant blame them, they put in their time.

Re: Salaries for cardiac nurses

It depends on if your rn1 or rn2 clinical nurse,etc... and usually speacialty nurses make a little more. It also depends on experience, and usually whether your working in the city or the county. Lots of factors. no straight answer.

Re: Salaries for cardiac nurses

Our hospital has a scale A thru like----J for nurses pay scale. I am topped out at J and I have been employed by this hospital 15 yrs but topped out at like 12 or 13 yrs of experience. To decide scale, our hospital looks at surrounding hospitals and tries to stay above.
