Sure--cardiac nursing is challenging and gratifying. You deal with all types of personalities and ages. I enjoy it because of the challenge. It is life and death all the time. You need to know different cardiac problems (CHF, Acute MI,etc.), cardiac drips, ECG changes, and interpretations, and procedures (stress tests, angio's, etc.). Besides all the med-surg, psych, and other aspects of nursing we all know how to give. Cardiac nursing is a great field!!
