Re: New cath Lab RN

Sign up for Medscape.com They have an Interventional Cardiology newsletter you can sign up for. TCT Transcatheter Therapuetics is an international symposium held yearly. You can sign up for their web site that has lots of useful info. Cath Lab Digest is another online source of information/newtworking. I used to have the links -but not doing Cath lab any more and deleted them. Good luck! I loved the Cath Lab and would still be there if my back hadn't gone out on me.

Re: New cath Lab RN

I have just been offered a job in the cath lab. I was wondering if you had to sign a contract, and i you have already taken the critical care course. Thanks.

Re: New cath Lab RN

When I started in the cath lab I was given a Mosby book. "The cardiac catheterization handbook" by Morton J. Kern. It was a fantastic resource and I still use it to this day. Good Luck!
