Red face Neuro-Telemetry Unit?? Please HELP

Hi everyone.

I just got a call from a manager on a Neuro-Telemetry floor at St. Joe's Hospital. I was wondering....what exactly is entailed in this specialty. I'm a tele nurse, but i don't understand what the neuro part of it includes....

post-CVA?

spinal injury complicated by cardiac issues?


please help clear this up for me....

yeah, a lot of post CVA's, pts recieved or have received TPA. Plus, head bleeds need their BP measured, because as we all know a high blood pressure can cause a re-bleed.
