i'm a new grad and i'll be working in telemetry - nights
i have a few questions (i hope you can help!)-
1. are there any highly recommended books for someone like me? i love the 'recall series, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that for cardiac nursing.
2. what certifications are you eligible for when you work in tele?
3. any tips on living a normal life when you work nights?
4. any pearls of wisdom?

NO. No matter to whom you explain that their 2pm is your 2am…nobody will ever care. Everyone will expect you to get up and be a part of the family no matter your hours. Get used to hearing….”so…are you going to sleep all day?”

Spend 2 more years in school and get an MS in something that has good hours and makes $$$$. 3 years will get you’re a JD. Real estate is pretty hot now too. Good luck in whatever you choose.[/quote]

Few jobs... over-crowded profession.

Don't believe the myth that all JDs make bundles.
