can I learn a lot if i work in the hospital for atleast 3 years?

hi everyone. I just joined this site and I find it really helpful & informative. I'm a nurse from the Philippines & I recently passed the local nurse licensure exam here in our country. On the next month il be getting my license--finally. I'm planning to work in the United states, and I know that it will require me to pass the nclex first..actually there are many agencies here. They will take care all of your expenses including pocket money. they will take care of your papers.they will also give you time to have an experience here first. My question is, is 2-3 years enough inorder for me to acquire the skills needed for me to become a safe and effective nurse in the united states? Because now i dont feel very confident. I'm really looking forward to have a clinical experience to gain confidence & knowlege as well. Please reply. thank you! and god bless to all!
