Work with Two exams on the line: PROCRASTINATION

Hey there!

it's been nearly a year since i've logged in here. I remember that was the time of the controversial 2006 leakage issue. Now that it has been buried into oblivion, i'm back again on track as one of your members. I just find this website very useful for a nurse like me who needs the direction and updates on the profession.

Certainly, i need some insights regarding on my case; As i am working as a nurse with its shifting schedule and demanding nature of the job itself, and yet i'm to take two exams for this year. Frankly speaking, i am having little progress when it comes to determination and discipline to review NCLEX. I am even planning to take IELTS first before Nclex so that i can apply for other UK countries aside from US. As we all know, US is on retrogression or at least that's what i know, just lately, i heard that it's being lifted. Is this true?

Going back,I always attribute my lack of motivation to my working status as a root cause as to why i don't have enough focus to the review. Probably it makes sense, but i have a feeling that this is just an excuse to PROCRASTINATE..

If it's not too much to ask, would you be kind enough to share some of your thoughts as to how i can make this work through within this year. Some sort of words of encouragement perhaps or steps for studying NCLEX effectively, considering with my time left as a staff nurse, will do.

Thank You and God Bless to us ALL

Retrogression is not at the moment going to be lifted although things have moved a bit quickly lately. Not sure what other UK countries you are looking at as there is only 1 UK but currently it is hard to find a hospital willing to petition nurses for work permit if not from the UK or EU.

Only you can decide on what time you can give yourself to study for NCLEX but I am sure you will find some support in the NCLEX forum under the student tab. Also the International forum under the region tab is very much up to date on what is happening visa wise for the US and also a few of the other countries ie Canada and Australia

Thank You. I just read the region and the student tabs for my request of advice.
