Shift work after licensing?

After a person graduates and obtains their RN licensing, it is possible isn't it, to get a job in a Dr.'s office, go into school nursing, home health nursing, or public nursing and not have to work shift work?

Anything possible if you look hard enough.
In our area you have to have your BSN to get a job as a school nurse then work towards a master. This what the school nurse at my son's school told me.

It depends on where you live. In some cities you can actually still get a "day" job without weekends or holidays by working in some hospitals. Again this depends on supply and demand. There are nurses that actually prefer to work only nights or just weekends because of going to school or childcare. So you may be lucky to find a place that has many of these "wonderful" nurses.

Good luck.........................
