I am taking steps towards a potential career change to nursing. Before I make my final decision, I would like to get a feel for what the work is like day-to-day. I would like to shadow a nurse in a hospital setting as well as a in a private practice setting. I live in the DC Metro area. Anyone out there know if this is commonplace or reasonable for this area?
