Question

I have a question that I couldn't find the answer to. I have applied to a lpn to rn school. I hadn't been accepted yet but I think I have a good chance of getting in. My mind has been wondering and I havent been able to find this information. How goes your LPN experince court. Do you graduate as a new grad with no experience are will employers take your lpn experience.

Re: Question

In my area, some hospitals will give you 1 year of RN experience for every 3 years of LPN experience.

Other facilities will regard you as a new graduate nurse, even though you might have 30 years of LPN work experience under your belt.
