PCC/CRC Woes. Suggestions???

Hi. I have recently taken on a charge nurse role in the NICU. The CRC (nurse educator) and I are clashing. I see her role as being the educator ie policy/procedure and orientation of staff. She constantly criticizes me in front of whomever happens to be in the unit, critiques my emails and seems to be checking up on me. Let me preface this by saying, I have worked as a staff nurse in the unit for 27 yrs, so she knows that I know what I am doing. I think she feels threatened by me and is very territorial. I am tired of hearing her spout the word "teamwork" when she has no idea of how a team functions. The staff do not find her approachable as she is rude and condescending to them. The charge nurse role is new to this unit and I have no predecessor/mentor. Does anyone know where the lines are between a charge nurse and the educator? Advice please!
