Nursing schools-which should I choose?

I am entering the associate degree nursing program at my community college this fall. One of the instructors has informed me that it is one of the highest rated nursing programs in the state and that 95-100% of the nursing graduates pass the NCLEX exam annually. However, I have been doing a lot of independent research and I have found out that my community college nursing program is not accredited by the NLNAC. What kind of drawbacks may I encounter in the future for graduating from a non-accredited college?

If you want to further your education, many schools and graduate schools require a degree from an NLN approved school. But some don't. I don't recall my RN to BSN program I'm now mentioning they require NLN degrees, and they are NLN approved themselves. But I do know the local university requires an NLN BSN to get into their graduate schools.

When they say "highly rated" you might want to find out what that means. But if you graduate and can take and pass NCLEX, that's the biggie.

Good luck.

Thank you for your help. The closest university to my home is an 1 1/2 hours away from my home. I have been informed that their RN-BSN program only requires that you have passed the NCLEX. I am just a little worried that my two years of hard work will essentially be for nothing and I will not be able to get my bachelor's degree in the future.
