Nursing school advice

I am thinking about going to school for nursing. I am able to get into a CNA program at maric college. The counselor was saying that if I did this program it would give me the experience I need to get into the RN program after I finish. I did qualify for the LPN program, but she said if my ultimate goal was to get to the RN program, that taking the CNA program would be the quickest and most cost efficient way. I have a few questions and wanted some advice from people who are already in this field. Do you think I should go for the CNA program first as a stepping stone, or should I go right into the LPN program? Is Maric College a good option for nursing schools?

Advice on this subject would really help, as I am going to be making my decision within the next few days here. Thank you.
