Cool nurse-moms..how do you do it???

hello nurses.
im a navy wife ,has a 2 year old and has just relocated to jax,fl. i am a nurse for 8 years now. i was wroking weekends before 12h shift when my husband was on shore duty so he could baby sit weekends while i work.but now that he is on sea duty there is just no way for me except to put my 2 year old in a day care. my dilemma comes in as i really dont like her spending much time in daycare and this would be her first time to go into one.and if i work 12 hours which i used to do, i doubt it if there is a daycare here that caters to 12 -13 hours.plus theres no daycare that opens sat and sun and holidays..i tried looking for any vacancy in hospitals here online but almost all of them requires 12 hours shift plus occ weekends and holidays..so what do you nurse moms do????..our savings is dwindling so i need to go back working asap.thanks for any think that u can pitch in..

When we were stationed in Alaska, I traded day care with another military Mom - worked great.
