Talking As a new lvn are my options just snf and homecare?

I am a new LVN in CA. I work in a nsg home for special kids. I enjoy it but its not where I want to stay (been there for 6 mos.) Its a non profit organization that requires you to do 13 hours of work in 8 hours with a high turn over and no pay raises. (I found this out after working there for about a month) I want to learn more but it seems as if the jobs that are available are in nursing homes, and home care for lvns. Please tell me its not true. I'm trying not to get discouraged, Ive posted my resume online but I'm getting more notices for RN posistions that lvn. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated. The only nurses I know are the ones I work with and I don't want them knowing that I am looking elsewhere.
