Hello. I am new to this site. I am just going to college to complete my BSN. I have about 18 months left until I graduate. I have not yet started clinicals, but I do think I want to go into Pediatrics. I currently work for a Travel Staffing Firm in the Nursing Division, but that is not why I am here. That is probably what gave me the push to go into the Nursing field. I am just looking for advice on nursing classes and other things that will help me through this process. Also, I know the first year is kind of where you start to learn everything, so I think it will be helpful to speak with all of you . Please let me know where to look for nurses in school and stuff. Thanks and I look forward to chatting with you all!!

Re: Types of Nursing Careers - VERY HELPFUL

Hi! My name is Marko, I'm 21.
I'm a student of scandinavian language and literature, and I love it! But I also wish to become a nurse, I know that's a strange combination, but hey, why not??
I'm curently living in Belgrade, Serbia, and finishing 4th semester at the University, 4 more to go... and have plans to start my education for a nurse this year. Educational sistem here in Serbia is a bit different from that one in America or Western Europe, so I dont know what BSNs or ADNs are, but let just say this school I'm about to go to is at college level. I wish to finish my hi education here, but want to finish my education for a nurse in Norway. I heard that nurses are very needed in Norway, so I want to start here, for two years, till i finish university, and then to go to Norway and finish for nurse there.
If there is some student exchange in Europe, I would really like to know about it. Tnx a lot!
