Looking For New career Avenues

Hi! I am a new poster to these boards, and would like some input from you folks.

I have been a nurse for 22 years, with experience in med/surg(hospital), case management/utilization review(insurance company) and homecare. These last couple of years I have also been involved in an intiative to computerize the documentation at my place of employment, which I have found to be very interesting.

I like direct patient care, but have been doing that for most of my career, plus, I am getting older, so it is a bit harder physically. I'd be interested in segueing into something that uses the nursing/healthcare background, the chart review, and computer interests. I have enjoyed participating in the design of nursing documentation programs and forms, I enjoy creating policies and procedures...I guess you could say that I enjoy the medical record (computer or paper) aspect.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions for avenues to explore????
